CLAT 2022: CLAT Exam is basically an entrance exam conducted to enrol students in undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in various government and private law universities. CLAT is a National level Exam through which students are given admission to more than 50 law colleges in law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities all over the country. After qualifying Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), students are allotted law colleges based on the scores acquired in the CLAT Exam. Read further to know more about CLAT Exam 2022.

CLAT 2022 Notification

Common-Law Admission Test is held once a year. The official notification for CLAT 2022 is expected to be released in December 2021/ January 2022. This year the CLAT Exam will be conducted on 08th May 2022. Till the CLAT 2022 notification is released candidates can bookmark this page to get notified whenever CLAT 2022 Notification is released.

CLAT 2022 Admission Process

The CLAT 2022 Exam is conducted for students who want to become a lawyer. The candidates must be minimum a graduate to appear for CLAT Exam 2022. The CLAT admission process compresses mainly of three stages that are as follows

1. CLAT online test
2. CLAT Counselling
3. CLAT Merit list release

CLAT 2022 Courses

There are varied courses that graduate or postgraduate students can pursue to get admission to various Law universities and become successful lawyers. The courses offered to the students for pursuing law as a career option are as follows:

• BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts LLB)
• BSc LLB (Bachelor of Science LLB)
• BCom LLB (Bachelor of Commerce)
• BBA LLB (Bachelor of Business Administration LLB)
• BSW LLB (Bachelor of Social Work LLB)
• LLM (Master of Laws)

CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must check the minimum eligibility requirement to appear for the CLAT 2022 Examination with respect to educational qualifications. It is worth noting that the CLAT Entrance exam does not have an upper age limit.

CLAT 2022 UG Eligibility

Educational Qualification

If the candidates want to pursue law as a graduate programme then they must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. Then they can get themselves enrolled in the integrated law courses.

Minimum Percentage

Candidates must have a minimum of 45% to appear for CLAT 2022. While SC/ST candidates will be allowed to appear at 40% marks.

CLAT 2022 PG Eligibility

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have passed LLB (Graduate level law programme) to get qualified for appearing in Law PG courses (LLM).

Minimum Percentage

At least 55% marks are to be scored in graduation by the candidates to get enrolled in LLM. While SC/ST candidates will be given a relation of 5% marks.

How to fill CLAT 2022 Application Form?

The candidates can follow the steps below for filling the CLAT 2022 Application Forms.

1. First of all the candidates need to register themselves by entering details like mobile no. and e mail id that cannot be altered
2. Then fill in the CLAT 2022 application form
3. Upload the necessary documents like signature and photograph
4. Pay the CLAT 2022 application fee
5. Now prepare yourself for the CLAT 2022
