Table of Contents
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will publish the SSC GD Cut Off 2026 along with the result on its official website. The cut-off will be released separately for different states, categories, and forces, depending on candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) and applicable NCC bonus marks.
Candidates who achieve the required cut-off will be shortlisted for the next stage of selection. Going through previous year cut-off trends can help candidates understand the competition level and estimate expected marks for the current cycle.
SSC GD Cut Off 2026
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced 24,587 vacancies for Constable (GD) posts in CAPFs and SSF, along with Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by Physical Tests, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.
The cut-off marks are determined based on factors such as the number of vacancies, exam difficulty level, and total applications received. The result and cut-off are expected to be released in July–August 2026.
Steps to Check the SSC GD Cut off 2026
Follow these short steps here to check/download the cut off PDF which is released along with the result.
- Go to the official website at www.ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the Results section, where you will find a list of recently declared exam results.
- Look for the SSC GD Result based on the release date and click on the respective link.
- The Result PDF will open on your screen.
- Download the PDF, where you can check the category-wise cut-off marks for all categories. The cut off is mentioned in SSC GD Result “Writeup”.
SSC GD Previous Year Cut Off
SSC GD Previous Year Cut Off is a guide for the candidates to get an idea regarding the expected increase or decrease in this year’s cut-off. As per the SSC trend, the students can predict the variation in the expected cut-off and it can be predicted from the previous year’s data.
Candidates should note that the cut-off marks are calculated using a normalization process. The section below provides year-wise previous cut-off trends. Here, candidates can also view CBT and final cut-offs released in earlier years, presented category-wise and state-wise.
SSC GD Constable Cut Off 2025
Out of the 25,21,839 candidates who appeared for the SSC GD Computer-Based Test (CBT), only 3,91,599 candidates achieved scores equal to or above the qualifying cut-off. Among them, 3,51,552 are male and 40,047 are female candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT. The category-wise SSC GD Cut Off 2025 for both male and female candidates is provided in the table below.

SSC GD Final Cut Off 2025
The final cut-off marks have been determined based on candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), after applying the normalisation formula prescribed by SSC. Also, bonus marks for NCC certificate holders were added to the normalised scores wherever applicable. Based on this and category preferences, and force options exercised by candidates, the SSC GD Final Cut Off 2025 has been finalised.

The Commission has released the SSC GD 2025 for CBE and PET PST for both male and female candidates and it is available both force-wise, category-wise and state-wise.
