IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2026 Revised

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has published the updated exam pattern for both the Preliminary and Main examinations along with the official notification. Candidates should review the key highlights of the IBPS SO Exam Pattern before starting their preparation.

• The exam pattern for Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) and Law Officer is the same. Whereas for all other posts is different from these two posts.
• Final selection is based on Mains + Interview in an 80:20 ratio.

IBPS SO Prelims Exam Pattern

The preliminary examination includes the subjects: Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness with Special Reference to the Banking Industry, and Quantitative Aptitude, with a total of 100 questions. The examination is conducted online for 125 marks.
