A total of 2536 vacancies have been announced, and the online application process will remain active from 7th September to 7th October 2026.

SSC CHSL Notification 2026 Out
The SSC CHSL (10+2) is a national-level competitive exam conducted every year by the SSC to recruit eligible candidates. Only 12th-level posts are filled through this exam. The recruitment process includes Tier 1 (Computer-Based Examination) and Tier 2, followed by document verification. Depending on the vacancy, posts may differ from year to year.
The selection process consists of two tiers:
- Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Tier 2: Computer-Based Test + Skill/Typing Test

SSC CHSL 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, make sure you meet all the eligibility conditions. Applying without checking eligibility can lead to disqualification later.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised Board or University.
- For the Data Entry Operator (DEO) post at the Office of CAG, Candidates must have passed Class 12 in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
- Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 exam and awaiting results are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 1/8/2026)
To apply for SSC CHSL 2026, candidates must be between 18 to 27 years old.

Number of Attempts
There is no limit to the number of attempts that a candidate can make in the SSC CHSL Exam. However, age limit is a factor that candidates have to be aware of. If anyone is out of the age limit, then they can not apply.
