• AIIMS has announced a total of 2,218 Nursing Officer vacancies across participating AIIMS institutes and Central Government hospitals.
• Out of the total vacancies, 899 posts are for UR, 599 for OBC (NCL), 323 for SC, 157 for ST, and 240 for EWS candidates.
• ESIC New Delhi has the highest number of vacancies with 523 posts, followed by AIIMS Deoghar (223), AIIMS Patna (201), and AIIMS Bhubaneswar (197).

AIIMS NORCET 11 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test 11 are expected to remain similar to previous cycles. Candidates must satisfy requirements related to the age limit and educational qualification.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must fulfil any one of the following qualification criteria:

Option A

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or the State Nursing Council

OR

• B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State-recognised institute
• Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council

Option B

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC/State-recognised institute
• Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council
• Minimum two years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the required educational qualification

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age Calculation Date: Age will be calculated as on the last date of application submission
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per the recruitment rules of the respective institutes/hospitals

How to Apply for AIIMS NORCET 11?

• Online Registration: Submit your application strictly through ONLINE mode via www.aiimsexams.ac.in between 24.07.2026 and 13.08.2026 (up to 5:00 P.M.). Enter basic personal details (name, date of birth, category, gender, email ID, and mobile number) to generate login credentials, then update your password. If you are already registered under OTR (One Time Registration) from previous exams, you must mandatorily use your old ID/OTR registration to avoid rejection.
• Educational and Address Information: Fill in your academic qualifications and provide both permanent and correspondence address details.
• Work Experience Details: Mention any relevant professional experience, including the organization name, job role, and joining date.
• Application Fee Payment: Pay the exam fee online via DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD, or NETBANKING. The fee is Rs. 3000/- for General/OBC candidates, Rs. 2400/- for SC/ST/EWS candidates, and Persons with Disabilities are exempted. Save the payment receipt and note the Unique Registration Number, as fees are non-refundable. Note that your category selection cannot be corrected once the fee is submitted.
• Exam City Preference: Select your preferred examination city. Once chosen, the exam city preference cannot be modified.
• Document Upload: Upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and a scanned left thumb impression in the prescribed JPG/JPEG format. Ensure the images strictly follow the ‘Upload Image Instructions’ and are clearly visible in the preview, as incorrect uploads will lead to the rejection of your application.
• Final Submission and Printout: Submit the completed application form and take a printout. Keep a copy of the Application Form and your proof of payment for your personal records. Do not send any physical documents to AIIMS, as physical submissions will be treated as null and void and subsequently destroyed.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Selection Process 2026

As per the previous NORCET recruitment process, the AIIMS NORCET 11 selection process is expected to consist of two stages:

• Stage I: Preliminary Computer-Based Test
• Stage II: Main Computer-Based Test

Candidates must qualify for Stage I to appear for Stage II. The final merit list is generally prepared based on Stage II performance, followed by document verification. The final selection procedure will be confirmed through the official notification.

The AIIMS NORCET 11 Salary 2026 is structured as per Pay Level 07 in the Pay Matrix. The post carries a pre-revised Pay Band-2 of ₹9,300–34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4,600, as applicable to Nursing Officer posts under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates are entitled to admissible allowances as per government norms, making the salary package attractive and stable.
