    Can Final Year Students Apply for IBPS RRB?
    As per the eligibility rules, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university on or before the last date of online application. Since the result of final-year students may not be declared by then, they are not eligible to apply.

    1. Go to ibps.in and click on “CRP RRBs” under the latest notifications.
    2. Enter your basic details to generate a registration number and password.
    3. Log in and fill in personal, educational, and communication details carefully.
    4. Upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
    5. Complete the payment using a Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
    6. Review your form, submit it, and take a printout for future reference.​

    IBPS RRB 2026 Application Fee

    IBPS RRB 2026 Selection Process

    The IBPS RRB Selection Process involves two stages: Prelims and Mains. On the other hand, the IBPS PO or Officer Scale I examination involves three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. As for the IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there is a single-window exam known as the IBPS Officer Grade II Exam, followed by an Interview. To secure a position in any of these posts, candidates must successfully clear each stage of the respective examinations.

    IBPS RRB 2026 Exam Pattern

    As you know the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.

    The IBPS RRB Office Assistant have only Prelims and Mains and there is no interview. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

    The IBPS RRB PO Exam have Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages, but merit is prepared based on marks in Mains and Interview stages only. The Prelims pattern of Office Assistant and PO is the same.

    There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.

    The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 and 3 exam have only a Single exam and an Interview. The single online exam is nearly the same as the  IBPS RRB PO Mains exam.

    From 2024 onwards, IBPS has introduced sectional timing in IBPS RRB Prelims Exam for both PO and Clerk. The consolidated duration of 45 mins is now bifurcated into 25 mins and 20 mins as mentioned above.
