IBPS RRB Syllabus 2025

The Prelims exam is held for 80 marks, while the Mains exam carries 200 marks. A Negative marking of 0.25 applies to wrong answers for the Prelims and Mains stages of the selection process. - For IBPS RRB Clerk, there will be two stages of the Exam- Prelims & Mains
- For IBPS RRB PO or Officer Scale I, there will be three stages of the Exam- Prelims, Mains & Interview
- For IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there will be a single-window exam- IBPS Officer Grade II Exam & Interview
- For all posts of IBPS RRB, candidates must pass each stage of the exam to secure a successful selection.
Important Note: This year IBPS has introduced some changes in IBPS PO Exam Pattern, but there is no confirmation regarding revision of IBPS RRB Exam Pattern, so candidates must stick to the old pattern which is given below.
IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern
A composite time of 45 minutes is provided to candidates to complete two sections, namely Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Candidates must clear the cut-off of each section. The cut-off for each section is decided by the IBPS team, depending on the level of difficulty of the paper.

IBPS RRB Interview Details
Candidates who get shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I, II & III will be subsequently called for an interview coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD.
The marks for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview for Officers Scale I, II, and III will be as per extant guidelines. Only by qualifying both in the Online Examination (Main/Single) and Common Interview with sufficiently high marks will candidates be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional allotment process.
