Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
LIC AAO Selection Process 2023
A three-tiered process has been mentioned in the notification for the selection of LIC AAO posts. This includes:
Phase 1 or Preliminary Examination- Objective type exam(Online Mode). Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for the Mains examination.
Phase 2 or Main Examination- Objective +Descriptive Exam(Both Online Mode). Descriptive Exam will be qualifying
- Marks of English will not be counted for ranking in both phase 1 and phase 2
- Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the online examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview
- Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates.
- After the interview, candidates will be called for a medical examination too. Only Medically fit candidates will be considered for final appointment as per the rules
