- For Officer Scale- III- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1980, and later than June 30, 1999.
- For Officer Scale-II- Candidates should be above 21 years and below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1988, and later than June 30, 1999.
- For Officer Scale- I- Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than July 3, 1990, and later than June 30, 2002.

IBPS RRB Selection Process
- For IBPS RRB Clerk, there will be two stages of Exam: || Prelims | Main ||

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern
As you know that the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.
IBPS RRB Officer Assistant Exam Pattern
IBPS RRB Assistant 2020, Exam will be conducted in two phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.

There will not be any interview after the Mains Exam to get selected for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made solely on the scores secured by the candidate in the Mains Exam.

For IBPS RRB Officer 2020, the exam will be conducted in three phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview Process
The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate in both IBPS RRB Mains Exam and the Interview. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate.

IBPS RRB 2020 Result
After the candidates have appeared for the IBPS RRB Exam the result will be declared. The result for IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Officer Grade will be made available. The result for IBPS RRB is of key importance as it will be the gateway to appear for the next stage of the exam.
IBPS RRB Cut Off
With the declaration of the IBPS RRB Result will also declare cut off marks for each stage. The cut-off for Preliminary Exams and Mains Exam will be different.
IBPS RRB Social Distancing Norms 2020
This time, exam centers will not display the candidates’ Roll Number and Room or Lab Number on their walls. Candidates will be informed about their Lab number in which they need to sit for the exam at the time of verification of Admit Card and ID at the exam center.
Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue that are listed below:
a. Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
b. Gloves
c. Personal transparent water bottle
d. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e. A simple pen
f. Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc)
g. Call Letter/Admit Card should be brought with the Photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it. Original
ID (same as Photocopy) is also to be brought for verification. The name on the ID and on the Call
Letter/Admit Card should be exactly the same.
h. In case of Scribe Candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed.
