RBI Grade B Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023: The major sections according to the RBI Grade B Syllabus 2023 from which the questions are asked are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Economics, Statistics, and English Language. Candidates can also download the RBI Grade B Syllabus PDF here. The RBI Grade B 2023 exam has both Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams, the RBI Grade B Syllabus 2023 of both levels is entirely different from each other. The RBI Grade B Exam Pattern for Phase 1 is given below.

  1. Candidates are required to secure sectional cut-offs, along with the overall cut-off, to be able to clear the exam.
  2. Also, there is a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
  3. The questions shall be MCQ type and the exam mode is Online computer-based.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern General, DEPR & DSIM Post

The RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern details for the General, DEPR, and DSIM posts are given below. It consists of subjects including Economica & Social Issues, English Writing, and General Finance, Management & Ethics. The detailed RBI Grade B Syllabus PDF is provided below.

  1. In Papers I & III, the paper is divided into 2 sections of equal marks. One section comprises MCQ-type questions and the other is a Descriptive type of Questions. The descriptive questions will be typed through the keyboard.
  2. In the Objective part, there shall be 30 questions for 50 marks.
  3. In the descriptive part, there shall be 6 questions, out of which candidates are required to attempt 4 questions for 15 marks each.
  4. Generally, the descriptive questions that are asked are simple and straightforward.

RBI Grade Phase 2 DEPR Post Exam Pattern

This phase is for the Department of Economy and Policy Research (DEPR) post, and it doesn’t include Finance and Management subjects. Only those who secure minimum marks in Paper 1 (objective) can get their Paper 2 answers checked. Combined marks of Paper 1, 2, and Interview will decide the selection of the candidate.
