RPF SI Nationality

RPF SI Education Qualification

RPF SI Physical Standards for Males

The RPF SI physical eligibility criteria have some precise physical Standards that candidates must fulfil to be eligible for the position. After the written test, applicants will undergo a sequence of physical assessments. It is important to fulfil the specified physical standards which are given. Note: PET/PMT is qualifying in nature. No marks are to be awarded. Candidate who does not have minimum height, or chest (unexpanded/expanded) shall be treated as having failed in PMT.

RPF SI Physical Standards for Female

The RPF SI Eligibility for Female candidates regarding height is mentioned here. All the women candidates belonging to the UR/EWS/OBC category must have a height of 157 cm.

RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test

In the second phase of the RPF SI Selection Process, candidates have to undergo two tests. The first stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the second stage will be the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Use the table below to learn about PET and PMT.

Candidates who complete either the 1600-meter or 800-meter race will undergo height and chest measurements to determine their eligibility. Chest measurements will only be conducted for male candidates. If a male candidate’s unexpanded chest measurement falls below the eligibility limit, the expanded measurement will not be taken, and the candidate will be considered disqualified.

RPF SI Medical Requirements

Candidates selected for Document Verification (DV) must undergo medical fitness tests administered by the Railway Administration. These tests ascertain their ability to perform the duties associated with the position(s). To qualify, candidates must meet the medical category ‘B-1’ criteria outlined in the Indian Railway Medical Manual.

Individuals with certain conditions, such as wearing glasses, flat feet, knock knees, squint eyes, colour blindness, or other physical impairments, are ineligible for appointments. It’s important to note that being called for a medical examination does not guarantee employment or inclusion in the select list.
