IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2024 is an online examination organised to evaluate your aptitude, intelligence, and English skills. Both the Preliminary and Mains exams are available in English and Hindi. The Prelims have three sections, and you need to pass the cut-off in each section to move on to the Main exam.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Prelims Exam is of 100 marks of 1-hour duration with 20 minutes for each section.

  • The Prelims Stage of IBPS Clerk will have three sections of a total duration of 1 Hour.
  • There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks individually for each section to be decided by IBPS.
  • An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
  • 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  • The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will have a total of 190 questions with a duration of 160 Minutes.
  • There will be four sections in the IBPS Clerk Exam for Mains with different sectional timings.
  • Earlier, the Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Sections used to be conducted separately. But, as per the recent update by IBPS, both these sections have been amalgamated together constituting a total of 50 Marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
