SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2024 will be released on the official website of Staff Selection Commission. Through SSC Stenographer 2024 recruitment, the selected candidate is placed in the Group C and Group D non-gazetted posts in various Ministries/Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India. The SSC Stenographer Exam is going to be conducted in October to November 2024. Important Events Related to SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2024
Before the SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2024 is announced, the recruitment body will conduct several events before that. Here are the important events which are related to the recruitment process of SSC Stenographer 2024.
Filling of Application Form: The SSC Stenographer application form is available online on the official website. Interested candidates should complete the form within the specified deadline. The application fee is INR 100 for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, women, and ESM candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
Release of Admit Card: The SSC Stenographer admit card is issued two weeks before the exam. Registered candidates can download it from the commission’s sub-regional websites by entering the necessary credentials. The admit card is not sent by post; candidates must access it online.
SSC Stenographer Exam: The SSC Stenographer computer-based test consists of three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. The exam includes 200 objective-type questions, each worth one mark, for a total of 200 marks. Candidates are given two hours to complete the test, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Marks are normalized to determine the merit list and cutoff scores. Based on the computer-based test results, candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test, which is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Final selection and allocation to Ministries/Departments are based on candidates’ performance in the computer-based test and their post preferences indicated during document verification.
