Note: The LIC Assistant Phase 2 examination is scheduled to be held on 22nd December 2019
- The difficulty level of the LIC Assistant Main exam may be higher than the prelims exam. Thus, candidates need to score more than just a minimum score, especially when the competition level is so high.
- Point to note is that there are 7975 vacancies, for which the expected number of applicants could be in lakhs. The exam is conducted to fill the posts of Clerical Staff including Cashier, Single Window Operator, Customer Service Executive.
- As per the exam pattern, mains exam will consist of objective tests for 200 marks, with the negative marking scheme of 1/4 marks.
- However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added to the marks of Mains for selection.
