NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2025
The NIACL AO Selection Process includes two main stages: Prelims and Mains. The Prelims Exam carries 100 marks and is completely objective in nature. The Mains Exam is for 200 marks and includes both objective and descriptive sections. NIACL AO Phase 1 Exam Pattern
- NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2025 for Prelims Exam consists of three sections, which include Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language.
- NIACL AO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025 will be of 100 Marks, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
- The mode of examination will be online, and the time duration for the complete examination will be 1 hour (20 minutes per section).
- There is also a negative marking of 1/4th mark (i.e., 0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.

NIACL AO Phase 2 Exam Pattern 2025
- NIACL AO Mains Examination will consist of four sections having Objective Type Questions for 200 marks.
- NIACL AO Mains Examination will also have a Descriptive Test for 30 marks.
- The mode of examination for both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online mode.
- The Objective Test will have four sections it includes English language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.

NIACL AO Phase II Exam Pattern for Specialist Posts
The exam pattern for the NIACL AO Mains Exam for the specialist post is the same, but along with the other four subjects mentioned above (for the Generalist post), there is an additional subject related to the specialist stream.

NIACL AO Descriptive Test
Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test will be conducted online mode only. It consists of a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks & Essay-20 marks). The time duration for the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes.

NIACL AO Interview Stage
Candidates who pass both the NIACL AO Prelims and Main examinations will be eligible to participate in the Interview round, which serves as the last stage for the selection of Administrative Officer positions. The weightage given to the Online Examination and Interview Process will be in the ratio of 80:20, respectively.
NIACL AO Syllabus 2025 for Phase 1 and 2 Exam
NIACL will soon conduct the NIACL AO Prelims and Mains Exams. Candidates planning to appear for the NIACL AO 2025 Exam should begin their preparation right away.
