NIACL AO Syllabus 2024:  New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) is going to conduct the NIACL AO Exam 2024 for the Administrative Officer post in Phase I and Phase II. NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2024

The NIACL AO Selection Process consists of Prelims and Mains Exams. The NIACL AO Prelims Exam will be 100 marks and Mains will be 200 Marks. The Prelims exam is entirely objective type whereas the NIACL AO Mains Exam is both objective and descriptive type. The details like marking scheme, duration, medium, and negative marking details are given below.

NIACL AO Prelims Exam Pattern

  1. NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2024 for Prelims Exam consists of three sections which include Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English language.
  2. NIACL AO Prelims Exam Pattern 2024 will be of 100 Marks consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
  3. The mode of examination will be online and the time duration for complete examination will be 1 hrs (20 minutes per section.).
  4. There is also a negative marking of 1/4th mark (i.e., 0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.

NIACL AO Mains Exam Pattern 2024

  1. NIACL AO Mains Examination will consist of four sections having Objective Type Questions for 200 marks.
  2. NIACL AO Mains Examination will also have a Descriptive Test for 30 marks.
  3. The mode of examination for both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online mode.
  4. The Objective Test will have four sections, it includes  English language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.

NIACL AO Phase II Exam Pattern for Specialist Posts

The exam pattern for the NIACL AO Mains Exam for the specialist post is the same but along with the other four subjects mentioned above (for the Generalist post), there is an additional subject related to the specialist stream.

NIACL AO Descriptive Test

Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test will be conducted online mode only. It consists of a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks & Essay-20 marks). The time duration for the Descriptive Test is of 30 minutes.

NIACL AO Interview Stage

Candidates who pass both the NIACL AO Prelims and Main examinations will be eligible to participate in the Interview round, which serves as the last stage for the selection of Administrative Officer positions. The weightage given to the Online Examination and Interview Process will be in the ratio of 80:20, respectively.
