The first stage is the preliminary exam and the second is the main examination. Candidates who qualify for these rounds will be eligible for the SBI Clerk Local Language Test. This year, the recruitment authority has released 14191 vacancies for the post of Clerk on the official website across various circles. Candidates who can show valid proof of having studied the local language in school (up to Class 10 or 12) may be exempted from taking the LPT. However, the decision to exempt a candidate depends on the Bank’s discretion.
