According to the SBI Clerk 2025 selection process, the State Bank of India conducts the SBI Clerk Local Language Test for all the candidates who have qualified Mains exam. There are two major examinations that the candidates need to qualify for to grab the opportunity to get appointed for the post of Clerk in the State Bank of India. The first stage is the preliminary exam and the second is the main examination. Candidates who qualify for these rounds will be eligible for the SBI Clerk Local Language Test. This year, the recruitment authority has released 14191 vacancies for the post of Clerk on the official website across various circles. Candidates who can show valid proof of having studied the local language in school (up to Class 10 or 12) may be exempted from taking the LPT. However, the decision to exempt a candidate depends on the Bank’s discretion.

Details About the Verbal and Non-Verbal Test

The test is divided into two main parts: Non-Verbal Test and Verbal Test.

Objective section: Includes 3 passages. Each passage has 5 questions, making a total of 15 questions and carries 15 marks in total.

Subjective Section: Also includes 3 passages. Each passage has 5 questions, totalling 15 questions and carries 15 marks.

2. Verbal Test: This part of the test does not specify passages or the number of questions. It carries a total of 20 marks
