About SSC CGL Exam
The SSC CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level Examination, conducted every year for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts in various offices of the Government of India. SSC CGL Application Fee
The SSC CGL application fee is Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates, while women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen are exempted. The SSC CGL application fee must be paid online by 5th July 2025 (11 PM) using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit cards.
Window for Application Correction
If you realize that you made a mistake after submitting your SSC CGL application form, there’s no need to worry. The SSC has provided a correction window from 9th to 11th July 2025 (11 PM), allowing candidates to make changes to their application. You can modify the details in the online form up to two times. SSC CGL Selection Process

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern
As mentioned above, there are two stages of examination, and both are conducted in online mode.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern consists of 100 questions (each question carries 2 marks) and the total marks is 200. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours, and there is a negative marking of 0.50, and all questions are MCQ-based. There are four sections, and each section has an equal number of questions and marks as shown below:

Total Marks is 450 and Total questions are 150. There is a negative marking of 1 mark. Total duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, Paper 2 is only for the post of Junior Statistical Officer, and it is of 200 marks, and the duration is 2 hours.
