Candidates must follow these exam day guidelines for a smooth examination process:

• Verify the date, time, and venue on your call letter and, if possible, visit the centre a day in advance.
• Late entry to the exam hall will not be permitted.
• Carry your call letter with a recent photo affixed, along with an original photo ID and a photocopy. Ensure the names match exactly.
• Strictly follow the instructions given by the invigilator/RBI staff; any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
• Do not bring calculators, notes, books, mobile phones, or any electronic gadgets to the venue.

RBI Assistant Selection Process 2026

The RBI conducts the RBI Assistant recruitment in three stages to select candidates for clerical roles across its regional offices.

1) Preliminary Exam
