Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per the Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwD (General): 10 years
• PwD (ST/SC): 13 years
• PwD (OBC): 15 years

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.

SBI Apprentice Local Language Test

The Local language Proficiency is part of both eligibility and selection process. It is mandatory for candidates to be proficient in the language of the region they are applying from.

Those who qualify the online exam will be called for Local Language Test and it is a qualifying stage in the SBI Apprentice recruitment. It is designed to assess a candidate’s proficiency in the local/official language of the State or Union Territory applied for. Only candidates who meet the minimum language proficiency standards will be considered further.

How to Apply for the SBI Apprentice 2026

Below are the steps to follow for successfully filling out the SBI Apprentice online application form on the official website.

1. Visit the SBI official website or click on the direct link provided below
2. Click on the “Careers” tab, and a new page will appear
3. Click on “Current Openings” under the “Join SBI” tab
4. A list of current recruitments will open and then Click on “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES IN SBI UNDER THE APPRENTICES ACT, 1961 CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07”
5. Click on the “Apply Online” link
6. You will be redirected to the application page
7. Click on the “Click here for New Registration” link. Important instructions page will open.
8. Click on “Continue” and Enter and confirm the basic details asked in the registration form.
9. Enter the security code and Click on the “Save & Next” button.
10. Then upload a scanned copy of your photograph and your signature as per the requirements. Click on the “Next” button
11. Select your preferred options for the details asked in the form. and click on “Validate your details”
12. After clicking on “Validate your Details” a preview page will open, Check all your details and accept the declaration by clicking on the checkbox against “I Agree”
13. Click on “Final Submit” and take a printout of the application form.

Application Fee

The candidates have to pay the below-mentioned non-refundable application fee during their registration process.
