SBI Apprentice 2026 Exam Pattern

• All questions will be Objective Type (MCQs)
• Questions will be bilingual: English and Hindi
• Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer
• No penalty for unanswered questions
• The question paper is divided into 4 sections of 25 questions each (25 marks per section)
• 15 minutes per section; total exam duration 1 hour

NOTE: Candidates who qualify for the online exam will have to appear for the Local Language Test; however, candidates who have studied the local language at class 10 or 12^th level will be exempted from the Local Language Test.

The monthly stipend for an apprentice at SBI is Rs. 15,000/- per month. It is not a permanent job, so benefits and allowances are not applicable for an apprenticeship.

What is the Job Profile of an apprentice?

1-Year Apprenticeship at SBI

During the one-year training period, apprentices gain banking experience and receive a stipend.
