IBPS RRB Exam Date 2025 Out
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially revised the IBPS Calendar 2025 and announced the IBPS RRB Exam Dates for 2025. The IBPS RRB Prelims for the Clerk posts will be held on 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th December 2025, while the Prelims for Officer Scale 1 (PO) will take place on 22nd and 23rd November 2025.
The Single Exam for Officer Scale 2 and 3 is scheduled for 28th December 2025. As for the Mains exams, the Clerk Mains will be conducted on 1st February 2026, and the PO Mains is set for 28th December 2025. Candidates are advised to mark their calendars and begin their preparation accordingly.

IBPS RRB Selection Process
The IBPS RRB Selection Process 2025 involves two stages: Prelims and Mains. On the other hand, the IBPS PO or Officer Scale I examination involves three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. As for the IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there is a single-window exam known as the IBPS Officer Grade II Exam, followed by an Interview. To secure a position in any of these posts, candidates must successfully clear each stage of the respective examinations.

IBPS RRB 2025 Exam Pattern
As you know the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.
The IBPS RRB Office Assistant have only Prelims and Mains and there is no interview. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.
The IBPS RRB PO Exam have Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages, but merit is prepared based on marks in Mains and Interview stages only. The Prelims pattern of Office Assistant and PO is the same.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.
The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 and 3 exam have only a Single exam and an Interview. The single online exam is nearly the same as the IBPS RRB PO Mains exam.
