Navy SSC Officer Salary 2024

The Indian Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) offers a competitive salary package to attract and retain talented individuals. Indian Navy SSC Officer Salary and Allowances 2024

In addition to the basic pay and allowances, SSC officers enjoy several other benefits like medical facilities, accommodation, leave travel concession (LTC), and insurance coverage. They also receive pension and retirement benefits upon completing their tenure.

The dearness allowance (DA) is revised twice a year and currently stands at 38 percent of the basic pay. House rent allowance (HRA) varies depending on the city of posting, ranging from 24 percent to 30 percent of the basic pay. Travel allowance (TA) is provided to cover travel expenses and is determined by the officer’s rank and place of posting. All Short Service Officers will receive gratuity at the time of retirement, they are not entitles for the Pension.

  6. Leave Travel Concession (LTC): The officers are entitled to travel to their hometown or any other place in India once in two years, or to any place in the country once in four years, on Leave Travel Concession.
