NDA 2025 Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the notification for the NDA (I) 2025 Exam in December 2024. This announcement is crucial for candidates aiming to join the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force as officers. The application form will be available until 4th June, allowing interested candidates to apply within this period. The NDA 1 2025 exam is scheduled for 13th April 2025 and the notification for NDA 2 2025 will be issued in May 2025.

NDA 2025 Exam Date Out

UPSC has announced the dates for the NDA 2025 exam through its 2025 exam calendar. According to the schedule, the NDA 1 2025 exam is set for 13th April 2025 with the notification and application form releasing on 11th December 2024. The last date to apply for the NDA 1 2025 exam would be 31st December 2024.  Talking about the NDA 2 2025 exam which will be held on 14th September 2025. The registrations will get open from 28th May 2025 and will end on 17th June 2025.

NDA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

UPSC has specific eligibility criteria for the NDA 2025 exam, covering education, age, nationality, and physical standards.

Education Qualification:

• For the Army Wing: Must have passed 12th grade (HSC) or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• For Air Force, Naval Wings, and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy: Must have completed 12th grade (HSC) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university. Candidates appearing in the 12th grade are also eligible.

Age Limit:

• Only unmarried male/female candidates born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008, are eligible.

Nationality:

• Must be an unmarried citizen of India, Bhutan, Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specific countries to settle in India permanently.

Physical Standards:

• Candidates must meet specific physical criteria including running 2.4 km in 15 minutes, performing skipping, push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, and rope climbing to specified minimums.

NDA 2025 Selection Process

UPSC NDA is a recruitment exam by the Union Public Service Commission for youth interested in joining defence jobs. The selection process involves two stages: a written exam and an Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB). Candidates who pass the written exam will undergo a personality test to assess their intelligence and character. To make it to the merit list, candidates must clear both stages. UPSC will generate the final result based on the combined scores from the written exam and the SSB for final selection.

NDA 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates preparing for the NDA Exam 2025 should understand the exam pattern set by UPSC. Here are the key details:

1. The exam will be conducted offline.
2. Questions will be in the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format.
3. Questions will be available in both English and Hindi languages.
4. Negative marking will apply, deducting 0.83 marks for incorrect answers in Maths, and 1.33 marks each for incorrect answers in English and General Knowledge sections.
