Paper 1: General Ability and Intelligence

The objective-type questions with multiple choices in this paper will broadly cover the following areas:

Paper-II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension

The UPSC CAPF Paper 2 consists of descriptive-type questions that candidates must answer following the Commission’s guidelines. This section carries 200 marks and assesses candidates language proficiency, comprehension, and essay-writing skills. Candidates will appear in Paper 2 only if they meet the CAPF Cut Off in Paper 1. UPSC CAPF AC PET

Upon successful completion of the written online exam, candidates who qualify will proceed to the next stage of evaluation, known as the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those meeting the specified physical standards set by UPSC CAPF will undergo assessment through the Physical Efficiency Tests. CAPF AC Interview/Personality Test

Candidates who successfully clear the CAPF AC written exam and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be eligible to participate in the interview and personality test. The interview process conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) carries 150 points.

UPSC will notify candidates who pass the Medical Standard Tests to arrange for their interview and personality test. Candidates who are medically unfit but allowed to appear before a “Review Medical Board” will also be required to undergo the interview and personality test.
