  • Admission through Lateral Entry (L.E.) directly into 2nd year of Marine Engineering:

A candidate can seek direct admission into the second year of marine engineering programs that should be approved by the Directorate General of Shipping. The LE seats can be secured by two ways:

  • A candidate needs to complete the first year of engineering with electrical or mechanical with minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
  • Or should have pursued a Diploma in electrical, mechanical, marine or ship-building engineering with minimum marks of 60%.
