Free Counselling Session for AFSB: Register Here

As we all know that AFCAT 1 2022 result has been declared by the Indian Air Force on 9th March 2022 on the official website. Those who haven’t checked their results, can see their AFCAT Result here. Congratulations to all those students who made it to the second stage of clearing the AFCAT Exam. Now, students who have cleared can celebrate their success a day or two but should start preparing for the second stage i.e. AFSB as early as possible.

What after AFCAT 1 2022 Result?

Selected candidates has cleared the cut off declared by the IAF for AFCAT Written Exam 2022. Once, they clear the written examination, they are qualified to appear for Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) Interview round. There are four AFSB centers i.e.  Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), and Varanasi (4 AFSB). Candidates who have applied for the flying branch can opt for only Dehradun, Mysore, and Varanasi. Qualified candidates will be called for AFSB Interview. They have to download the AFSB Call Letter from the official site and check their date and venue for the Interview.

Testing of AFSB would consists of three stages:

  • Stage-1: This test is a screening test and only qualified candidates would go for further rounds. Qualified candidates will require to go for document check to ascertain their eligibility for the branch they have applied for. Those who failed to meet the necessary requirements would be sent back on the first day itself.
  • Stage-2: Psychological test will be conducted on day one and the group and interview would start after the document check for the next five days.
  • For Flying Branch: Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) would be administered to recommended candidates only. This is once in a lifetime test.

Students, to help ease your preparation for AFSB, DefenceAdda is conducting free counselling session for all the Defence Aspirants. In this Session, you will get detailed knowledge about the AFSB process. This session will be conducted by Col.
