Process To Apply for CDS Application Form 2024
Candidates can fill out the UPSC CDS Application Form 2024 using online mode only at the UPSC official website. The CDS Application Form 2024 application process consists of two parts – Part 1 is basic registration and Part 2 includes various processes such as fee payment, filing up form and uploading scanned documents.

Step 1-Register Online
CDS 1 2024 online registration steps are as follows –
- Visit UPSC CDS official website – upsc.gov.in
- There you will find the registration link, click on that to open the registration form.
- If you are a new user, click on the new registration tab and then you have to enter details such as your name, date of birth, parents name, address, category, mobile number, email ID and other basic details.
- After that, the Registration number will be sent to you in the form of SMS and email.
Step 2-Already Registered Candidates
- If You have already registered for the CDS 2024 application form, then you need to directly enter your email id or the mobile number on which an OTP will be sent which you need to enter and also write the captcha code and press login.
- Fill the CDS 2024 application form with all the details needed with documents and application fee.
Step 3-Fill Out CDS Application Form 2024
Fill out the educational qualification and other details in the CDS Application Form 2024 by the steps given below:
- To go further in the application process, Candidates have to mention personal and educational details.
- Then the candidate will be given the option to choose their preferred position amongst IAF, IMA, INA, and OTA.

Step 4-Upload Photo, Signature, and Photo ID Proof

Step 5-Payment of CDS Application Fee
Candidate has to follow the given steps in order to complete the process of Payment of the application fee of CDS Application Form 2024 –
- The application fee for CDS Application Form 2024 is INR 200/-.
- Female, SC, ST, and Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from fee payment.
- Candidates will be able to pay the fee Application Fees using online mode via Debit/ Credit Card or SBI Net banking and in offline mode by paying cash at any SBI Bank branch.
- To pay the fees by cash, candidates will have to generate a bank challan during the registration process and submit the same along with the fees at any SBI bank branch.

Documents Required to Fill the CDS Application Form 2024
Candidates must be in possession of the following documents in order to fill out the CDS Application Form 2024 –
- Photo ID proof – Aadhar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License (Any One of these).
- Scanned photograph, scanned signature, and ID card.
- Matriculation and degree certificates.
- Debit/Credit Card/Internet banking details for online application fee payment to validate the CDS application online form 2024, etc.
Process To Withdraw the CDS 1 Application Form 2024
If the candidate is willing to withdraw the form, then they can follow the steps given below:
- Step 1: First, you need to visit the official website of UPSC – upsconline.nic.in.
- Step 2: There you will find the link for CDS Application Form 2024 withdrawal link, click on that.
- Step 3: Candidate will receive an OTP on his registered email and mobile, that he needs to insert.
- Step 4: The request for UPSC CDS Application Form 2024 withdrawal will be processed after validating the OTP.
- Step 5: As the request for CDS Application Form 2024 withdrawal request is accepted, aspirants will be able to take a printout of the receipt.
