हाल ही में भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों में “Tour of Duty” के बारे में बहुत बात की गई है। और इसे और आगे बढ़ाने के लिए, सुरक्षा पर कैबिनेट कमेटी ने प्रायोगिक योजना – ‘अग्निपथ’ को मंजूरी देने के लिए 14 मई, 2022 को एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिया है।

यह भारतीय युवाओं को, जो भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों का हिस्सा बनना चाहते हैं, इस नई प्रविष्टि और उपलब्ध अवसर के माध्यम से सेना में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति देगा। चाहे वह भारतीय सेना हो, भारतीय नौसेना हो या भारतीय वायु सेना। अग्निपथ सेना भारती योजना सभी भारतीय उम्मीदवारों के लिए केंद्र सरकार की योजना है। अग्निपथ के माध्यम से, कोई भी लड़ाकू बलों में सेवा कर सकता है और लगभग 45,000 से 50,000 सैनिकों को हर साल सिर्फ चार साल की सेवा अवधि के लिए भर्ती किया जाएगा।

3	Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)	10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Cl XII is mandatory.	17 ½ – 23
