About SSC Multi Tasking Staff MTS Recruitment 2025
The SSC MTS Exam is conducted annually at the national level for recruiting candidates for shortlisting candidates for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff posts in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories and Havaldar post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

A candidate applying for SSC MTS must be:
- An Indian citizen, or
- A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or

SSC MTS 2025 Selection Process
There are two stages in the SSC MTS Selection process, for MTS posts, namely a Computer-based Objective Type Paper and Document Verification. For the Havaldar post, the selection will be done through CBT, Physical Standard, and Efficiency Test, and Document Verification.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2025
SSC MTS Paper I will be conducted in 15 regional languages (excluding English section) and divided into two compulsory sessions: Session I and Session II. Session 1 is 120 marks and Session 2 is 150 marks. The duration of each session is 45 minutes.
Negative Marking: No negative marking in Session 1, but there is negative marking of 1 mark in Session 2.
