The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, for recruitment to various non-technical positions across different Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India, including Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals in various States/Union Territories. This examination also recruits Havaldar positions within the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), both under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
The official Notice for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, was released on the SSC website on June 26, 2025.

Exam Pattern
Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II, on the same day and both the Sessions will be mandatory.
The candidates will get 45 minutes to complete Session-I. On completion of 45 minutes, Session-I will get automatically closed.
Immediately after completion of Session-I, Session-II will start. Session-II will also be for 45 minutes and immediately on completion of 45 minutes, Session-II and, hence, the Computer Based Examination will come to an end.
