SSC JHT 2025: Important Dates

Given below are the important dates that each candidate must keep in mind for the SSC JHT online application process.

The SSC JHT Apply Online Link 2025 is now available on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at www.ssc.gov.in starting from 5th June 2025. Candidates interested in applying for the Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, or Senior Hindi Translator positions can use the direct link to complete their applications online.

Before proceeding, applicants must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC portal. The application window will remain open until 26th June 2025. To avoid any last-minute technical glitches, candidates are encouraged to apply well before the deadline.

How to Apply Online for SSC JHT 2025?

The Application process for SSC JHT 2025 involves some important steps and each step is mandatory. The first step for the SSC JHT application process is the online registration, you have to complete the one-time registration before filling the online application form. Apply from the direct link mentioned above.

Step I: One-Time Registration (OTR) – Mandatory

• If you’re a new user or previously registered on the old SSC website (ssc.nic.in), you must complete fresh OTR on the new portal.
• Old OTR credentials will not work.
• Once registered, this OTR is valid for all future SSC exams on the new site.

Step II:  Live Photo Capture – No Upload Required

• During the form fill-up, you’ll be prompted to click a live photo using your mobile or computer camera.
• You cannot upload a pre-taken photo.
• Tips for Capturing Your Photo:
• Use a well-lit area with a plain background.
• Hold the camera at eye level.
• Look straight into the camera.
• Ensure your full face fits in the red box.
• Avoid caps, masks, or glasses.

Important: Your appearance in the exam must match this photo. Unclear or old photos, or photos with glasses, may result in application rejection.

Step III: Signature Upload – JPG/JPEG Format Only

• Upload your scanned signature (10–20 KB).
• Recommended size: 6.0 cm (width) × 2.0 cm (height).
• Make sure it is clear and not blurry. Invalid signatures can also lead to rejection.

Step IV: Final Review Before Submitting

• Carefully preview all details before clicking “Submit.”
• Double-check your photo and signature.
• Save or print a copy of the final application form for your records.

Step V: Application Fee Payment

Pay online via: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay). The application fee is Rs. 100 and no fee for reserved category candidates.

Note: If the payment is unsuccessful, your application will be considered “Incomplete.” You can monitor your payment status via the SSC dashboard. Please remember that once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable and cannot be transferred under any circumstances.

Step VI: Take A Printout of the Application Form

After the application form is duly submitted, take a printout of it for future reference.

The application fee for SSC JHT is Rs 100 for General category, EWS and OBC Aspirants and Rs 0 for female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, physically handicapped candidates, and ex-servicemen. SSC JHT Application Form 2025 Important Instructions

During the online registration for the SSC JHT exam, these are the details should be mentioned online.

1. Personal Information: This is the basic information of a candidates’ identity which is crosschecked during the exam by the Invigilators:

• Candidate’s Name (as per as 10th certificate)
• Date of birth (as per as 10th certificate)
• Gender
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name

2. Contact Information: This information is required to receive the details of registration and password in mail and mobile number

• Email address
• Mobile number
• permanent Address/Residential address(pin code, city and district)

3. Educational Qualification: Depending on the educational qualifications required for the specific post, you may need to use educational certificates and mark sheets.

• 10th, 12th and Graduation ( degree, year of passing)
• Post-graduation details (if applicable)

4. Category: If you belong to a reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC, you will need to provide a scanned copy of the caste/category certificate issued by the competent authority.

• Category (General/OBC/SC/ST)
• Whether you belong to any reserved category (such as Ex-Servicemen, PwD)

5. Photograph and Signature:

6. Identification Details: A valid photo identification proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or any other government-issued ID card.

SSC JHT Application Form: Specifications For Uploading Photograph

This time Candidates are not required to upload a photograph, a live photograph will be captured and the specifications for signature are mentioned below.

• The signature should be done on white paper with a black/blue ink pen.
• The signature should be clear.
• The dimension of the signature should be 6.0 cm (W) x 2.0 cm (H).
• The signature should be in JPEG/JPG format.
• The file size of the signature should be between 10 KB and 20 KB.

SSC JHT 2025 Application Correction

In this window you are allowed to edit the details filled during the application process. Any mismatched details in the application form, candidates are advised to visit SSC correction window. The SSC JHT Application Correction facility will be available for the candidates for 2 days.

1. Correction Window: Login candidate’s login portal. Enter your details and credentials, such as your registration number and password.
2. Correction Options: This correction window allows you to edit the application form. When logged in, you will find an edit bar, tapping on this you are taken to your application details in which you are going to correct the mismatched details. Make sure to provide accurate and updated information during the correction process. In case you need to upload any corrected documents, follow the specified guidelines mentioned in the official website.
3. Submission and Confirmation: After making the required corrections, review your edited application thoroughly. Once you are okay with it submit the edited application.
