The UP Cooperative Institutional Service Board conducts the Combined Co-operative Banking, Non-Banking and Technical Services Examination (Mains) as an online, objective-type, multiple-choice test. The pattern varies by post category, with three distinct structures.

• Total test time: 120 minutes across all categories.
• Language of test: All tests are bilingual (Hindi and English), except the separate Hindi Language and English Language sections themselves.
