The application process for the SSC CPO 2026 is now live on the official website @ssc.gov.in. SSC has announced 1,871 tentative vacancies for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police, CAPFs and the newly introduced Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF category.
Candidates are advised to fill the application form as soon as possible. The last date to apply for this opportunity is 30 September 2026 (till 11:00 PM). The correction window will subsequently remain available from 8 to 10 October 2026.

Steps to Fill Out the Delhi Police SI Application Form
Follow these 10 simple steps to apply and fill out the application forms. This will help you in successfully submitting your applications.
Step 1: Click on the official link given on this page or go to the SSC website at www.ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the official website, click on the “Apply Link.” It will open in a new window.
Step 3: Click on “New Registration” and then press the “Register” button.
Step 4: Fill in your basic details like your name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button. Before submitting, make sure all details are correct. You will get a Registration ID after submitting.
Step 6: Now, log in using your Registration ID, date of birth, and password. Upload your photo and signature as per the instructions below:

Step 7: Log in again with your ID and password to complete Part II of the application.
Step 8: Review the full form once to make sure all details are correct. Click on “Final Submit.”
Step 9: Pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or BHIM.
Step 10: After the online application process is over, take a printout of the application form.
Application Correction Window
Candidates who submit their applications within the specified window, will get a separate opporunity to edit their applications and correct details in their application form. The SSC CPO Application Correction Window 2026 will remain open from 8 October to 10 October 2026 up to 11:00 PM.
Documents Required to Fill Out the SSC CPO Application Form

- Photograph of the candidate in passport size
- Candidate signature as a scanned image

A New Post in SSC CPO 2026
As per the latest notification, a new post has been introduced, in this recruitment cycle, for Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF under the SSC CPO examination. There are 234 tentative vacancies for this post, all earmarked for male candidates.
