About SBI PO Exam 2025
SBI PO 2025 is an annual examination conducted every year to select eligible candidates for Probationary Officer post. The job of an SBI PO is to supervise, customer service, managerial duties, and perform other tasks. The selection process comprises of 3 phases such as Prelims, Mains, and Interview (including GE and Psychometric Test). Those who qualify in all stages will be selected and posted anywhere in India. Upon selection, candidates be put in a probation period of 2 years and annual CTC is Rs. Rs. 20.43 lakh at Mumbai centre.

The SBI PO Apply Online 2025 for FY 2025 is being conducted online through the official website of the State Bank of India – www.sbi.co.in. Any candidate applying for the SBI PO exam must fulfill the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by the State Bank of India, which includes specific age limits and educational qualifications. SBI PO Age Limit (As of 1/4/2025)
To apply for the SBI PO 2025 exam, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2025. This means they should have been born between April 2, 1995, and April 1, 2004. Candidates from reserved categories can get age relaxation as per government rules.

SBI PO Nationality
- The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship
- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
Note: Candidates belonging to categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favor if willing to apply for SBI PO 2025.
SBI PO Qualification (As on 30/9/2025)
- A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Final Year/Semester candidates can also apply only if they produce proof of their graduation on the date of the interview.
SBI PO Selection Process
The SBI PO Selection Process 2025 involves three phases, which the candidates need to qualify for the final recruitment. The Prelims and Mains exams are both online exams that are conducted to assess the knowledge of the candidates.

The prelims exam pattern consists of 100 questions and each question carry 1 mark. Total duration is 1 hour and there is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
