Who Is Eligible to Apply for the SBI Circle-Based Officer 2026?

Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 31st December 2025.
Graduated from a recognised university.
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank.
Must be proficient in the local language of the circle/state for which they are applying.

SBI CBO Application Fee

Payment of the application fee is mandatory after completing the SBI CBO application form. The fee is non-refundable and can be paid through online methods such as UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, and digital wallets. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are exempted from paying the fee.

Candidates must follow the instructions given here to submit the SBI CBO Application form before 25th February 2026:

Step 1: Visit the official SBI website at sbi.co.in or apply directly using the link provided above.

Step 2: Click on the Latest Announcements section on the homepage.

Step 3: Look for the notification titled “RECRUITMENT OF CIRCLE BASED OFFICER (Apply Online from 29.01.2026 TO 25.02.2026) ADVERTISEMENT NO: CRPD/CBO/2025-26/18”

Step 4: Click on the Apply Online link.

Step 5: A new window will open. Click on New Registration and then select the Register option.

Step 6: Enter the required personal details such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

Step 7: After submitting the details, a Registration ID will be generated. Use this ID along with your date of birth and password to log in and continue the SBI CBO application process.

Step 8: Upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by SBI.

Step 9: Log in again using your registered credentials to complete Part II of the application form. Fill out personal and professional details and upload left-hand thumb impressions and a handwritten declaration.

Step 10: Carefully preview the application form to verify all the details entered.

Step 11: Finally, click on the Final Submit button after confirming all the information in the SBI CBO Online Application Form.
