RPF SI PET PMT Date 2025 Out, Physical Test Starts from 22nd June Onwards

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RPF SI PET PMT Dates 2025 for Physical Test. Candidates who passed the Computer Based Test for 452 Sub Inspector vacancies, are now required to appear for the test on the scheduled date. This stage is qualifying in nature and it is mandatory to pass this test as well. Through the test, RRB aims to ensure the suitability of the candidates for Sub Inspector role. Candidates are encouraged to read this article for complete details on the exam schedule.

RPF SI PET PMT Date 2025 Out

The RPF SI PET/PMT Dates 2025 have been officially announced. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) will be conducted from 22nd June to 2nd July 2025. The tests will take place at the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process must report to the venue as per their schedule and ensure they meet all the physical standards set by the Railway Protection Force.

The admit card for the same will be available a few days before the schedule on all Zonal websites of RRB. So, we advise the candidates to keep a tab on the RRB website, that they applied from, for all latest updates.

RPF Vacancy 2024-25

The Railway Police Force has notified the 4208 vacancies for the Constable post and 452 vacancies for the SI post. The category-wise distribution for both vacancies has been shared in the table below. Note that The vacancies for Ex-Service Men and Females remaining unfilled for want of suitable Ex-Service Men and Females during recruitment shall be filled up by a suitable Male candidate as per existing guidelines.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2025

You must be looking for eligibility criteria for both posts before applying. It is mandatory to ensure that you are eligible for the SI or Constable post before proceeding further. The Railway Police Force has prescribed the age limit, educational qualification, physical measurements, and nationality.

• SI Eligibility Criteria are different from the Constable post. Candidates must have completed their Graduation from a recognized board, university, or institution in any stream. RPF Constable Selection Process 2025

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes multiple stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors. Here is the selection process for Constable in an order.

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Phase I: Initial online exam covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Phase II: Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, long jump, and high jump. Physical standards vary by post.
3. Document Verification: Candidates provide the necessary documents to confirm eligibility.
4. Medical Examination: Successful candidates from document verification undergo a medical check to meet the required standards.
5. Final Merit List: Ranking based on performance in CBT, PET, PMT, and document verification.

RPF Exam Pattern 2025

To be selected for an RPF constable or SI post, you must pass a computer-based online exam. The following is the RPF Constable Exam Pattern.

1. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
2. The duration of the exam is 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Mins).
3. The Exam shall be computer-based and questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
4. The difficulty level of the questions for the Constable post will be as per class 10th (Matriculation).
5. The difficulty level of the questions for the SI post will be Graduation.

Document Verification

The final stage of selection will be the document verification round. Candidates who will clear all the stages will reach the DV round. In this round, the documents of the candidates like mark sheets, caste certificates, NOC Letters, and other important documents will be checked. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents as per the stated date will be disqualified.
