ISRO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification and age requirements prescribed in the notification.
Educational Qualification: The required qualification varies according to the post.
Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1 & 5)
- Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 from a recognised university.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- One year of work experience.
Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)
- Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, or
- Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10.
- English stenography speed of 60 words per minute.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- One year of relevant work experience.
Age Limit: Applicants must satisfy the prescribed age criteria.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories according to Government of India rules
ISRO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The ISRO Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of multiple stages, including a Written Test/Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test based on their performance in the written examination. The selection stages are given below:

ISRO Salary Structure
Selected candidates under ISRO Recruitment 2026 will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 4 with a starting basic salary of ₹25,500 per month. In addition to the basic pay, they will receive applicable Central Government benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).
Apart from the basic salary, selected candidates will be eligible for several Central Government benefits such as medical facilities, a subsidised canteen, staff quarters (subject to availability), Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Group Insurance, House Building Advance, and other admissible allowances, making the overall pay package highly attractive.
