SSC GD Physical Test 2024, PET PST Requirements and Dates

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC GD Physical Test 2024 for candidates who have qualified in the SSC GD Computer-based exam. The commission has announced the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates through the SSC GD Result 2024. These candidates will now proceed to the SSC GD Physical Test, which includes the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Eligibility Test (PET). This stage follows the written exam and assesses the candidates’ physical efficiency and strength to determine their suitability for the Constable post.

SSC GD Physical Test 2024

The SSC GD Physical Test 2024, conducted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), will assess the physical abilities of the candidates. Although the specific SSC GD Constable PET PST dates are yet to be announced, the tests are scheduled for August 2024. Candidates should begin preparing for the physical efficiency tests. The SSC GD PET PST Admit Card 2024 will be available on the official websites of SSC (ssc.gov.in) and CAPFs (crpf.gov.in).

The selection process involves several stages, starting with a computer-based exam. Successful candidates then undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST). The PST evaluates parameters such as running time, height, chest measurements, and weight. Meeting these standards is crucial for advancing in the recruitment process. Finally, candidates must pass a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the role.

SSC GD Constable Physical Dates 2024

The physical test will be held at various national exam centres for the 26,146 vacancies of General Duty Constables in BSF, CISF, and CRPF. The SSC GD Physical Test is designed to ensure that candidates are fit to join the Indian Paramilitary forces. It includes various activities like measuring height and weight and conducting races. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) have different requirements for male and female candidates (discussed below).

SSC GD Physical Standard Test 2024

The SSC GD Physical Test includes a physical standard test which included height and weight of the participating male and female candidates. The candidates must fulfil these eligibilities to qualify this round of physical test.

SSC GD Physical Requirements for Male Candidates

Male candidates from the General, SC, and OBC categories need to be at least 170 cm tall. Their chest measurements should include a minimum expansion of 5 cm, with the unexpanded chest measuring at least 80 cm. SSC GD Physical Requirements for Female Candidates

In the SSC GD Physical Standard Test, chest measurements are not taken for female candidates. Female candidates from scheduled tribes must be at least 150 cm tall, while those from the general and OBC categories need to have a minimum height of 157 cm.

SSC GD Physical Eligibility Test (PET) 2024

The commission will hold the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test 2024 after the PST is completed. Candidates from Ladakh or any other region will need to finish the race within the specified time limits for both female and male candidates.

SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test For Male Candidates

Male candidates from the Ladakh region need to complete a 1.6 km run in 7 minutes. For candidates from other regions, it’s a 5 km race that must be finished within 24 minutes.

SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test For Female Candidates

Female candidates from the Ladakh region need to run 800 meters in 5 minutes. Those from other regions must complete a 1.6 km run in 8½ minutes.

SSC GD Physical Test 2024 Vision Requirements

SSC GD Medical Examination Document Required

Candidates who qualify for the SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will advance to the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). During the DME, various documents will be scrutinized to verify the eligibility and authenticity of the candidates. Here are the details of the required documents:

1. Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate

• Purpose: To validate the candidate’s age, name, and educational qualification.

2. Domicile Certificate/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)

• Issued by: Authorized competent authority.
• Purpose: To authenticate the candidate’s place of residence.

3. Valid NCC Certificate (if applicable)

• Purpose: To verify the candidate’s participation in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), potentially providing additional benefits or considerations during the selection process.

SSC GD Physical Admit Card 2024

The SSC GD Physical Admit Card 2024 will be released by the conducting authority once the exam dates are announced. The candidates need to download the GD PST/PET Admit Card which will be released on the official of CRPF, @rect.cepf.gov.in. The admit card is important for the candidates to carry during the physical tests.

SSC GD Physical Test 2024 Result

The SSC GD Physical Test Result 2024 will be announced by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates who pass the PET/PST will move on to the Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification. The SSC GD physical test result for 2024 will list the category-wise breakdown of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the DME/DV, based on their performance in the online exam and their qualification in the physical test.

What is Next After SSC GD Physical Test?

The SSC GD 2024 Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV) will be carried out by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). after the physical tests are concluded. Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical examinations conducted by Medical Boards set up by the CAPFs. The DME will assess candidates’ physical and medical fitness according to the Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ officers in CAPFs and AR.
