PFRDA Assistant Manager Grade A Eligibility 2025
The eligibility criteria required for PFRDA Grade A Exam 2025 mainly includes Age Limit and Qualification. If any candidates qualify both, then they can fill out the application. For easy understanding, we have shared the criteria below.
PFRDA Assistant Manager Age Limit (As on 31st July 2025)
A candidate must be 30 years old or younger as on July 31, 2025. This means the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 1995. Age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as mentioned in the table below.

The online application process for PFRDA Grade A Officer Recruitment has started on 23rd June 2025 and candidates can register and fill out their application forms on the official website of PFRDA at www.pfrda.org.in. PFRDA Grade A Officer Selection Process
There are 3 stages in the selection process for Grade A Assistant Manager post as shown in the table below.

- There are two papers in Phase 1 Exam: Phase 1 is for all streams and Paper 2 is specialised for different streams.
- Total Marks (Paper 1 + Paper 2): 200 Marks
- Negative marking of 1/4th mark will apply in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of Phase I.

Note:
- Candidates must clear individual paper cut-offs and an overall cut-off in Phase I to qualify for Phase II.
- Minimum qualifying marks for Phase I will be decided based on the number of vacancies.
- Phase I marks are only for shortlisting and will not be counted in the final selection.
PFRDA Grade A Phase 2 Exam Pattern 2025
- There are two papers: Paper 1 is descriptive and Paper 2 is objective.
- Paper I (Descriptive) will be evaluated only for those who score the minimum qualifying marks in Paper II.
- There will be negative marking (1/4th of the mark) for each wrong answer in Paper II.

Note: All question papers in both Phase I and Phase II (except the English test) will be available in both Hindi and English.
PFRDA Grade A Interview 2025
Those who get shortlisted through Phase 2, will get to appear for Interview round. Candidates will be informed about the date and time for Phase III (Interview) through email/call letter, and the list will also be posted on the PFRDA website. Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of Phase 2 and 3 and weightage given is 85% and 15% respectively.
PFRDA Grade A Officer Salary Structure
The Pay scale for PFRDA Grade A Officer is Rs. 44,500 – 2,500 (4 years) – 54,500 – 2,850 (7 years) – 74,450 – EB – 2,850 (4 years) – 85,850 – 3,300 (1 year) – 89,150 (Progression over 17 years). After including various allowances and PFRDA’s contribution towards National Pension System, the monthly approximate salary is Rs. 1,57,000 per month.
Probation Period
Selected candidates for the post of Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) will be on a probation period of 1 year and they can be posted anywhere in India, depending on the requirement and discernment of PFRDA.
