LIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2019

There are two phases in LIC Assistant 2019 Exam: Preliminary (Prelims) and Mains Exam 2019. Check detailed pattern of each phase.

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern- Prelims

  • There will be 3 sections in the Written Exam, namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude
  • Total Duration of the written exam – 1 hour
  • Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online

LIC Assistant Exam Pattern- Mains

After qualifying for Preliminary Exam, candidates would be appearing for LIC Mains exam. The Main Exam Pattern of LIC Assistant is given :

  • Main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks.
  • The objective test will be conducted in online mode.
  • There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for main examination
  • The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
  • Qualification of Preliminary exam is essential to appear for Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added to the marks of Mains for selection.
  • Thus, Final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II)
