IRDAI Assistant Manager exam will be conducted online comprising 4 sections with 160 multiple choice questions in total and with maximum marks of 160. The duration of the entire exam is 90 minutes. IRDAI AM Syllabus 2026
As discussed above, the IRDAI Assistant Manager exam consists of two phases and their syllabus varies from each other. Candidates must go through the IRDAI Assistant Manager Syllabus and Exam Pattern for both phases in order to successfully pass the exam. Only those who qualify Phase 1 and 2 will be called for Interview and considered for final selection. The Phase 1 syllabus consists of Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and GA. The Phase 1 exam is objective in nature.
The Phase 2 syllabus consists of Essay and Precis writing, Economic and Social Issues, and Insurance and Management. This paper will be descriptive in nature.
IRDAI Assistant Manager Salary
The IRDAI Assistant Manager Salary is Rs. 44,500 to Rs. 89,150/- per month. The salary package includes a basic pay of Rs. 44,500 per month, along with a dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), and other allowances. The DA is revised quarterly based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and is currently at 17%. The IRDAI Assistant Manager Gross Monthly Salary is Rs. 1,46,000/-.
