IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Preliminary Examination

The first stage in the selection process is the Preliminary Examination (Prelims). This online exam includes three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must score above the minimum cutoff in each section to qualify for the Mains Examination. Although Prelims scores do not count towards the final selection, passing this exam is essential to move on to the next stage.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Mains Examination

The second stage is the Main Examination (Mains). Candidates who pass the Prelims are eligible for this online exam, which has four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
