BOB Local Bank Officer Eligibility 2025

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute, including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).

Note: Qualification must be from institutions recognised by the Government of India/AICTE.
Post Qualification Experience
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank, as listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
Not Eligible: Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintech companies will not be considered

BOB LBO Language Proficiency Test
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the local language of the state they are applying for. Those who clear the online exam will have to take this test. If they fail, they won’t be allowed to appear for the personal interview, and their application will be rejected.
However, candidates who studied the local language in their 10th or 12th standard (and have a mark sheet or certificate as proof) don’t need to take the LPT.
