BOB Local Bank Officer Eligibility 2025
The eligibility criteria for BOB Local Bank Officer include age limit, educational qualification, experience, and language proficiency. We have discussed each in detail below.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
According to the BOB LBO notification, applicants should be aged between 21 and 30 years as of 1st July 2025. However, candidates from reserved categories may receive upper age limit relaxations in line with government guidelines.
– Minimum Age: 21 years
– Maximum Age: 30 years
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute, including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
- Professional qualifications in Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Engineering, or Medical are also accepted.
Note: Qualification must be from institutions recognised by the Government of India/AICTE.
Post Qualification Experience
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank, as listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
Not Eligible: Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintech companies will not be considered
Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state for which they are applying – this includes reading, writing, and comprehension.
Bank Of Baroda LBO Salary 2025
The salary structure for a Local Bank Officer at Bank of Baroda starts at ₹48,480. The pay scale progresses as follows: Rs. 48,480 – 2000 (7 increments) – Rs. 62,480 – 2340 (2 increments) – Rs. 67,160 – 2680 (7 increments) – Rs. 85,920. In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates are entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Special Allowance, Special Pay, and Transport Allowance.
