Academic Qualification:
Make sure that you meet the required Academic qualifications to apply for the post of SSC GD. The minimum qualification to apply for the post of SSC GD, 2022 is 10th standard or Matriculation from a recognized board.
Age limit:
Candidates must be in between 18- 23 years. The lower or minimum age limit should be 18 years and the maximum or upper age limit should be 23 years.
Nationality:
Nationality is the foremost and most basic Eligibility Criteria to apply for this post. Only Indian Candidates can apply for the post. For migrated candidates, they must submit domicile/ PRC against his/ her state/ UT.
Age relaxation:

Physical Standard
Physical Standard is another important eligibility for the post of SSC GD. After clearing the Computer Based Test, candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical Eligibility Test/ Physical Standard Test which is conducted by the commission. Physical Eligibility Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres. Candidates who found themselves to be eligible on height parameters will have to undergo Physical Eligibility Test (PET) which will be followed by biometric identifcation.
