Steps to Apply For UIIC Assistant 2024
To apply for the UIIC Assistant post, candidates must know each step to apply to register and fill out the application form properly. A single mistake in the application form can lead to rejection and cancellation for this year. So, candidates must make sure that they apply with care and presence of mind. For your ease, follow the steps given below to apply:
Step 1: Start by opening your browser, and open the official website of United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC) at www.uiic.co.in.
Step 2: Now, scroll down and in the “Careers” section, click on “Recruitment.” After clicking, an interface as shown below will appear on your screen.
Step 3: Now, click on “Recruitment of Assistant – 2024.”
Step 4: After clicking, the active link to apply for UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2024 will be there as “and then on “Apply Online.
Step 5: After clicking the Registration/Login page will appear. Click on “Click Here for New Registration” and enter your necessary details such as Name, Phone Number, and Email ID. Validate the details and proceed.
Step 6: After registration, A unique ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to you through the registered Number and Email ID. This will be helpful throughout the recruitment process.
Step 7: Now, continue filling out the form by uploading your Passport size photograph and signature, and enter your personal details and educational qualifications. Also, upload your handwritten declaration and thumbprint (if required).
Step 8: The last step is the payment of the application fee. Candidates are required to submit the application fee as per their category (as mentioned below). The application fee can be paid online only.
Step 9: Now, submit the application form and take a printout of it.
UIIC Assistant 2024 Application Fee
The UIIC Application Form without the application fee submission will not be considered completed and submitted. At the end of the application form, candidates are required to pay the application fee online through platforms like BHIM UPI, Debit/Card Card, or any other sources provided by UIIC. Candidates are required to pay the fee as per their category as mentioned in the table below. The GST is applicable as per the region.

UIIC Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024
To know more about the UIIC Assistant post, candidates must read the eligibility criteria which include nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. UIIC Assistant Qualification 2024
For the Assistant post, candidates must have completed their Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University in India. Along with academic qualifications, the candidate must know reading, writing, and speaking of regional language of the state of recruitment.
UIIC Assistant Selection Process 2024
Candidates applying for the UIIC Assistant post, are required to go through the stages of the selection process which involves an Online Test and a Regional Language Test.
Online Exam: The online exam consists of 5 sections and candidates will be assessed based on their knowledge of Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, GK/General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. The exam is of 250 marks and it consists of 200 questions. The questions shall be MCQ-based.
Regional Language Test: Candidates who pass the Online examination will be subsequently selected for the Regional Language Test as part of the final selection process.
Final selection will be based on performance in the Online exam subject to qualifying in the Regional Language Test.
UIIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2024
The United India Insurance Company (UIIC) has introduced a new exam pattern for the upcoming UIIC Assistant Exam 2024. Here are the key changes:
- Single Online Examination: The exam will now consist of one online test comprising 200 questions, and it will be conducted for a total of 250 marks.
- Duration: Candidates will have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam.
- Bilingual Tests: Except for the “English Language” test, all other objective tests will be bilingual, available in both English and Hindi.
- Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer, a penalty of 1/4th mark will be deducted.

UIIC Assistant Admit Card 2024
The UIIC Assistant Admit Card 2024 will be released 10 days before the Exam on the official website of UIIC at www.uiic.co.in. UIIC Assistant 2024 Salary
Candidates who get selected for the UIIC Assistant post will be on probation for 6 months and they will be promoted as per their performance in that period. The initial UIIC Assistant Salary of the Assistant post is Rs. 37,000 per month in Metro cities. The scale of pay is Rs. 22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)- 38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265.
Allowances beyond the basic salary may vary based on the place of posting. In addition to these allowances, other perks, including a Lump Sum Domiciliary Medical Benefits, Membership of Group Mediclaim Policy for reimbursement of Hospitalization expenses, Leave Travel Subsidy and other Staff welfare schemes would be as per the rules of the Company.
