SSC GD Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates who are going to appear in the Constable Exam should be aware of the SSC GD Syllabus and exam pattern. For each correct question, candidates will get 2 marks, and for each wrong question, there is a penalty of .25 marks. Candidates have 1 hour to complete the exam.

  1. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
  2. The GD exam consists of 4 sections with a total of 80 questions.
  3. Question Type: MCQ-based.
  4. The time duration for the exam is 60 minutes.

SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test

After passing the written exam candidates need to appear for the physical efficiency test (PET). All the candidates need to pass the PET exam otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
