Defence Minister of India
The government of India is responsible for the strong Defence game India exhibits ,and our Honorable President is the supreme commander of all the Armed Foerces, meanwhile the responsibility for national defence rests with the cabinet ministry of defence is the main body which discharge the functions related to defence sector,and the Defence minister is the head of Ministry of defence.
The first defence minister of independent India was Baldev Singh Chokkar, who served in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet during 1947–52. Rajnath Singh is the current defence minister of India.

He was born on 10 July 1951 in the Bhabhuara village of Uttar Pradesh. into a family of farmers. Rajnath Singh grew up to secure a master’s degree in physics from Gorakhpur University and served as a lecturer of Physics at K.B. Post-Graduate College Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.As Defence Minister, he is inclined to increase the partcipation of Nari-Shakti in the armed forces and has started several initiatives regarding this . being a firm believer of Indian potential and spirit, he is determined to see India regain it’s title of VISWAGURU

Role of Defence Minister of India ( Bharat Ke Raksha Mantri)
The Ministry of Defence is mainly responsible for co-ordinating and managing all agencies and functions of the government relating directly to national security and the Indian armed forces and has the largest budget of the federal departments of India.
The Defence Ministry is responsible for “obtaining policy directions of the Government on all defence and security-related matters” and communicating these directions to “Services Headquarters, Inter-Services Organisations, Production Establishments and Research and Development Organisations”.
National security is the most sensitive and important area of administration and our defence ministry works tirelessly to achieve peace and harmony in Nation.
