CRPF HC (Ministerial) Selection Process: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Head Constable Ministerial and ASI posts. Online Applications are invited for a total of 1458 CRPF posts. Central Reserve Police Force is going to recruit candidates for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Computer Based Test, Typing Test, Physical Standard Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

CRPF Head Constable Ministerial Selection Process

Eligible candidates for Head Constable and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) posts have to go through CRPF Recruitment 2023 selection Process. They have to clear the various stages in order to get selected and finally make it to the merit list. The selection process will consist of the following stages –

Stage 1- Computer Based Test (CBT)

Stage 2- Skill Test (Typing- HC)

Stage 3- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Stage 4- Document Verification

Stage 5- Medical Examination

CRPF Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern

Let’s look into the details of Stage 1 of the selection process by understanding the exam pattern –

1. The exam will be Computer Based Test (CBT) with 100 Objective Type Questions
2. The duration of the exam will be  90 Minutes
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Test are as follows:

• UR: 40%
• EWS/OBC/SC/ST: 35%

Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Test (CBT) will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut off mark.

CRPF Head Constable: Skill Test

Candidates will also have clear a typing test in order to move further in the selection process. Details of the typing test are as follows –

• Skill test will be of qualifying nature and no marks will be awarded for skill test.
• Skill test (typing) will be conducted/done only on computers. Computers &key boards for the purpose will be provided by the Recruitment Centers.

CRPF Head Constable: Physical Standards

Other than assessing their mental capabilities, candidates are also get assessed on the basis of their physical fitness capabilities.  The detailed physical measurements required by both male and female candidates are given below. Candidates need to make sure that they meet the required measurement to be eligible for the selection process. Category-wise physical measurements are listed below.

In the end, the candidate needs to go through document verification and a medical examination. After which they will be able to see their name in the merit list in order to get final selection.

CRPF Document Verification

Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification from the pool of candidates who qualify in CBT, Skill Test and PST. At the time of Document verification, documents as mentioned below will be physically verified.

• Original documents along with self attested photocopies of the same with them at the time of reporting at Recruitment Centre.
• Two passport size recent colour photographs and one original valid Photo ID Proof while appearing for the Document Verification.
• Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate.
• Intermediate/ 10+2 Certificate
• Order/letter in respect equivalent Education Qualifications
• Caste/Category Certificate
• Certificate from District Collector/ District Magistrate in respect of dependent applicants of riot victims

CRPF Medical Examination

The shortlisted candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Officer/Medical Board constituted by the CRPF to assess their physical and medical fitness. Candidates declared unfit during Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will be allowed to undergo Review Medical Examination (RME).
