The Border Security Force (BSF) will conduct an open Competitive Test to recruit Assistant Sub Inspectors (Stenographer/Combatant Stenographer) and Head Constables (Ministerial/Combatant Ministerial) for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Additionally, positions for Warrant Officers (Personal Assistant) and Havildars (Clerk) in the Assam Rifles (AR) will also be filled, following the Recruitment Rules/Scheme devised by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
CAPF HC and ASI Eligibility Criteria
Both Male and Female Candidates who are aged between 18 to 25 holding a 10+2 Passing Certificate can apply for the BSF’s CAPF HC and ASI Posts.

CAPF HC and ASI Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed their Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or University, or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants who do not meet the required educational qualification by the specified date will be deemed ineligible and should refrain from applying.
- All candidates who pass the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be considered for further evaluation.

Ineligibility of Non- Indians for BSF HC and ASI
Unlike the majority of other Defence Exams, A Candidate who is not a Citizen of India is not Eligible to apply for the recruitment released by the Border Security Force. Anyone belonging to Nepal and Bhutan who is really eager to apply have to grant themselves the prior permission from the Central Government.
